Waseda University 11th Feb 2017 Tokyo, the Masjid representative 2nd meeting by Professor Tanada
Participated “The 2nd Masjid Representative Meeting”
On 11th Feb 2017, the representatives of masjid in Japan were gathered at the Waseda University for “The 2nd Masjid Representative Meeting”. The host of the meeting was professor Hirofumi Tanada who is the head of Ethnic group & Multi-generation society institute. We discussed about multiculturalism for hours on end.
Content of the meeting included Muslim community having good relationship with Japanese people who lives in the same area, and also problems occurring due to difference of cultures and lack of communication.
We had a very good time being able to discuss about religion, masjid and Muslims with them.
We wish for a future where Muslims in Japan will be understood and accepted so they can live with peace and relief.
