We have visited the “Tokyo Islamic Cultural Exchange Festival” held at the Tokyo Shiba park on 10th, 11th and 12th of Aug 2019.
Many restaurants and organizations that acquires the Halal certification were present in the festival. It was a great success.
The sponsor of the festival, Mr. Kyouichiro Sugimoto (representative director of NPO Chiba Islam Cultural Centre) is also the halal ambassador of JMA. He had also worked on Arabic-to-Japanese translation of the Quran.
Due to the invitation from Mr. Sugimoto, the representative director of JMA Saleem Sandha had visited the festival on 12th. It was a great time spent talking about Halal in Japan.
